Mount Moriyoshi, where the Ani Ski Resort is located, is one of Japan's three major frost-covered trees viewing spots. When you get off the gondola, you'll see the large frost-covered trees appear before your eyes. Take a walk around Juhyo-daira and see the various shapes of the frost-covered trees.

This tour involves exploring the vast snowy fields of Nordic Forest Park on a banana boat or snow boat pulled by a snowmobile. Children of elementary school age and older can ride the banana boat. Preschool children will be accompanied by a companion on a snow boat.

This is a pleasure-boat with an observation deck "Moriyoshimaru", travels between Taihei Lake and Komata Gorge. You can enjoy both the sightseeing boat of lake and an exploring around the unexplored nature! Taihei Lake is an artificial lake which was made according to the completion of 30km Moriyoshi Dam. It is crowded with the explorers of valley views and anglers during the season. It only takes about 15 minutes boat ride to arrive at Komata Gorge Pier. There is a 1.8km long promenade in Komata Gorge where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and nature of seasons. From the fresh green in spring to the deep green in summer, Komata Gorge fascinates people with its refreshing scenery worthy of the name of “hidden world”. Furthermore, the autumn leaves of Okumoriyoshi are so colorful that can be described as "embroidery". The incredibly beautiful unexplored world only can be created by God is waving to you, and takes to the another world. The boat runs every hour from 9:30 to 15:30. * Please note that the last pleasure-boat of the day (15:30) does not stop at Komata Gorge.

"Mt. Moriyoshi" is one of the three major spots for viewing frost-covered trees in Japan, along with Zao. Take a gondola to the top of the mountain and take a stroll to view the frost-covered trees.Enjoy the spectacular winter scenery of Japan. Departing February 17, 2025 and returning on the 18th, this is a two-day, one-night English-guided tour. We will travel to Mt. Moriyoshi on a cute Japanese local train.Enjoy the scenery from the train window. After lunch, we will view the frost-covered trees on Mt. Moriyoshi. Please dress warmly.After viewing, we will have dinner at our accommodation. Our accommodation is Japanese traditional hotel with hot spring where you can feel the Matagi or local bear hunter culture.Warm up in the natural hot springs and feel the rural lifestyle.On the second day, we will travel by bus to visit the samurai residences of Kakunodate. Feel the history of Japan. After free time, enjoy a lunch of roast pork and Inaniwa udon noodle. After lunch, we will visit Suzuki Sake Brewery, the oldest sake brewery in Akita. Enjoy a tour of traditional Japanese sake brewing, registered by UNESCO.This is a two-day, one-night trip that will let you fully enjoy winter in Japan.
