In this experience, you can actually make matcha by yourself while learning the basics of the tea ceremony in one hour. ~ Flow of the day ~ ① Demonstration and hands-on experience (30 minutes) First, you will see a demonstration by the instructor. I will explain the specific steps and manners while demonstrating. After that, participants will move on to the experience of actually making matcha. The feature is that you can easily enjoy it using things you have at home, such as handkerchiefs and spoons. ②Enjoy dried sweets (15 minutes) Enjoy dried sweets with matcha green tea. The Aime-toi Cooking School's "Table Tea Ceremony Experience" specializes in promoting table tea ceremony that can be easily enjoyed at home. Experience matcha green tea with Kutani ware in a tatami room in a townhouse full of culture. The current owner, Mr. Yukio Uchida, takes over the pottery shop in his parents' house, and he himself creates works by overglaze painting as a Kutani ware artist. In addition to being able to see and purchase Kutani ware at the shop on the 1st floor, the atelier on the 2nd floor of the machiya-style pottery shop is open to the public, allowing visitors to see Mr. Uchida painting. We also serve matcha green tea in Kutani tea bowls made by the artist. Come and experience the world of Kutani ware, which flourished in an elegant culture.

You can choose your favorite kimono and get dressed in a typical Japanese home. Experience and enjoy home-cooked meals while wearing traditional sashes.
