You will be informed of dangerous areas and points to be careful of in advance, so you can avoid risks. 2. The guide will explain the nature, history, flora and fauna of Mt. Tanigawa, so you can get a deeper understanding of the charm of Mt. Tanigawa. Small discoveries and impressions that you would normally overlook will be more memorable with the guide's explanation. 3. There are tours of various levels available, from hiking courses for beginners to full-scale mountain climbing courses. [Tenjin Ridge Course] This is a course that uses the ropeway to go round the Tenjin Ridge. First, we will aim for the major peak "Toma no Mimi", and if you are physically fit, "Oki no Mimi". Let's challenge Gunma's famous mountain! *This tour does not guarantee you will reach the summit. *There are chain sections and steep climbs on the course. This tour is not for beginners. Unlike a regular pilgrimage, this tour is accompanied by a monk who will guide you along the approach to Yakuoin Temple. This is a special pilgrimage experience, as you walk along the path to Yakuoin Temple, hearing about the history of Mount Takao and Yakuoin Temple. Experience the goma fire ritual up close at Yakuoin Temple, a rare experience even for Japanese people. It's a special time to pray for the fulfillment of your prayers by the sacred flames. After the goma fire ritual, head to Ukai Toriyama, a renowned restaurant surrounded by the natural beauty of Oku-Takao. Tour the gassho-style buildings remaining on the premises and view displays of tools and culture from ancient times. Afterward, enjoy a relaxing irori (traditional Japanese hearth) course featuring carefully selected ingredients in a tranquil setting in one of the private rooms scattered throughout the vast garden.
