It is also used as a beach in the summer and can accommodate banana boats and pleasure boats. On the back sea surface, it is basically the sea surface where BUZZ wakeboarding and SUP are performed. At Sumiyoshihama, the sea level changes greatly depending on the wind direction. In most cases, it is divided into southeastern winds and northwesterly winds. In the case of southeastern winds, wind waves hit the front sea surface, but the back sea surface is flat like a mirror. In the case of northwest wind, the opposite is true and the surface sea level becomes flat.
