Join me on a guided tour around Muikamachi, Niigata. Starting from Muikamachi Station, less than 2 hours from Tokyo, we'll cycle through Minamiuonuma's rice fields and Niigata's best spring water on our way to the Hakkaisan sake brewery, all with ease on e-bikes. At the brewery, we’ll explore the story and tradition behind this premium sake, connecting centuries of craftsmanship, heavy snowfall, and pristine water. We’ll enjoy a delicious meal featuring onigiri made from local rice (vegan option usually available). On the way back, we’ll stop at a traditional four-season Japanese park. We’ll return to the station by 15:00, giving you time to explore the local onsen or head back to Tokyo. The tour starts at 10:00 and covers about 20km. 〜Flow of experience〜 10:00　Departure We will depart from the east side of Muikamachi Station 11:00　Niigata Best Spring Water We will stop a bit to taste the voted best Niigata spring water. 12:00　Hakkaisan Sake Brewery We will visit the sake brewery, have lunch and explore the nature around the area. 14:00　Japanese park We will visit and learn more about a beautiful Japanese park and its history. 15:00　Return We will be back at the train station to finish the tour.

A small tofu shop that challenges new tofu making methods while inheriting the local traditional "frozen tofu" production technology in the highlands of Yatsugatake, Nagano Prefecture, at an altitude of 1100m. We are particular about the ingredients and use only delicious local water and soybeans. Why don't you see the craftsmanship at the small tofu factory "Sennen Tofu" in the village and make tofu with your own hands? Children can enjoy the experience of making tofu because it uses a small wooden mold. Finally, in addition to the tofu made by yourself, you can sample various dishes using tofu made by craftsmen. (Example: Okara salad, soy milk tempura, stewed frozen tofu) We usually make cotton tofu from March to November, but you can make local specialty "frozen tofu" from December to February. * Frozen tofu is a traditional preserved food that is cut and frozen overnight. Ina City, Nagano Prefecture is the birthplace of Shinshu Soba, and local soba noodle masters teach traditional handmade soba noodles that have been around for a long time. You can enjoy the struck soba on the spot. Please leave it to the soba noodle making master to boil delicious soba noodles and soba noodles! We will teach you how to boil delicious soba that you can enjoy at home. Shinshu soba craftsmen will teach you authentic handmade soba noodles made from buckwheat flour.
