An electric potter's wheel experience where you concentrate on shaping the spinning clay. Even a slight distortion can cause the shape to collapse, so it's not something you can do quickly or easily. We will provide you with the maximum support, so even beginners can feel free to try pottery. The sense of accomplishment you feel when you finish is wonderful. [Experience flow] ① When the reservation time comes, enter the store and leave your luggage. ② When you sit down, fill in the address of the destination to which the finished product will be sent. ③ Before the experience, please tell the staff "the shape and size of the vessel you want to make". ④ The experience starts. Slowly and carefully stretch the clay vertically. ⑤ Once the clay is firmly stretched thinly, you can freely create any shape you like. (The experience time is approximately 20 minutes) ⑥ Please feel free to ask us to take photos with your smartphone during the experience. ⑦ Your work will be carefully fired by the craftsmen of Zuikogama and delivered to you in one and a half to two months.

This is a Kyo-yaki and Kiyomizu-yaki pottery experience at Heian Gyokuo Touen. It is held on the first floor of Hotel Emion Kyoto in Umekoji, Kyoto, and is open to families, friends, and couples. You will use an electric potter's wheel to experience turning the potter's wheel with a Gyokuo Kiln potter. Since all teach for the first time of a person who is also lecturer carefully, you can create a beautiful piece as if it were for sale.
