Kairi is a renovated old house located in the inland scenery of Awaji Island, where the traditional scenery remains. You can enjoy dishes that are carefully prepared one by one using local ingredients, tableware, and space that the owner is particular about, and the scenery will relax your mind. The owner is particular about using seasonal ingredients that correspond to the seasons of Awaji Island! As much as possible, he uses locally grown and locally harvested ingredients. He takes the time and effort to carefully arrange each dish with delicate care, using crops that have been grown with love and seafood that have been harvested with great effort and hard work. If he cannot get them, he himself goes to pick wild vegetables and makes tea. Kintsugi is a repair technique in which cracks, chips, and other damaged parts of ceramics are glued together with lacquer and decorated with gold and other metal powder. It is also called Kintsukuroi. At our salon, we use simple lacquer instead of real lacquer, and we finish at a reasonable price. Tableware that holds a special meaning can be revived by Kintsugi, and upgraded by applying gold. We accept lessons and orders. The experience location is Minoh City, a city rich in nature in Hokusetsu, Osaka. 20 minutes by train from central Osaka Location: 10 minutes walk from Sakurai Station on the Hankyu Minoh Line, or at the Sakurai Station Cafe (At the cafe, we ask that each person order one drink) If a child of junior high school age or younger participates, a parent or guardian must apply and participate with them. We do not allow children to participate alone. If you bring your own, you are limited to three chips per person.
