They are able to teach in English well, and also take pictures of you. You also have some customizable options on what you create. The process did not take long at all, so it is a good activity for getting out of the sun or rain for a little while on a busy day. I personally enjoyed it greatly and look forward to having my cup be shipped to me once dried and glazed.

The pottery experience was super fun and a welcomed change from Japan’s beautiful castles, temples and shrines. The instructors were very patient and generous with assistance during the entire class. The language barrier was no problem as they were still able to communicate key instructions and there was some written instructions too. A really enjoyable experience and we cannot wait to receive our masterpieces in a couple of months. It will be a wonderful reminder of fun times in Osaka! It was wonderful to join a class with locals as that only added to the authenticity of the experience
