A traditional event that has been going on for over 800 years in Takeo City. You can have a simulated experience at Takeo Shrine Yabusame approach. Enishi Horse Park offers special courses where you can experience the tradition and culture of equestrianism. This course is designed to help you feel a deep connection with your horse. ⚫︎Safe instruction for beginners: This is a walking experience so that beginners and inexperienced people can participate with peace of mind. Experienced staff will support you while leading your horse. Participants can safely enjoy a sense of unity with the horses. ⚫︎Basic bow and arrow practice: Before riding a horse, learn how to use a bow and arrow. Develop concentration and balance while learning the techniques and spirit of traditional archery. ⚫︎Horseback riding practice: Practice basic horse riding techniques in a safe environment. This will deepen your collaboration with your horse and increase your confidence. ⚫︎ Yabusame experience: Finally, we will have a practical experience of Yabusame. This traditional technique of hitting a target while riding a horse provides thrills and a sense of accomplishment. ⚫︎ Yabusame costume experience: Participants will have the opportunity to wear traditional Yabusame costumes. You can enjoy a more authentic Yabusame experience while wearing this costume. Get deeper into the history and culture of equestrianism by wearing this traditional costume.

It is an outdoor experience plan that you can enjoy a wide range of things from casually empty-handed to full-fledged things! A secret forest about 1 hour and 30 minutes from the center of Hokkaido. We have a private campsite. Pick-up service is also available to the nearest station (additional charge for pick-up service). Interact with horses and sheep and go horseback riding. You can also take stylish pictures surrounded by outdoor gear. Meals are served with local specialties and wild game unique to Hokkaido cooked over a wood fire. At night, you can relax with a drink while enjoying the starry sky and bonfire. During your stay, the group will have a nature butler (butler in nature), so you can immediately consult with them if you have any problems. Of course, we will set up all the time-consuming tent setup, chairs, and tables here. Cook at your preferred time. After playing in the forest, you can experience the natural circulation type nature sauna that you can only experience here, where you can feel the forest with your whole body. After that, you can eat the finest rice and go to bed, or you can relax and take a rest because there is a natural hot spring facility in front of you. Only here in Hokkaido, the only professional camper and nature butler in Japan. Please enjoy the "living experience" as it is.

Since the Warring States period, people have been using nature sustainably as a breeding ground for cattle and horses in the “Millennium Grassland” that spreads out on the north outer rim of the Aso Caldera. In this tour, under the guidance of the people who have inherited the grassland from generation to generation, you will actually handle the grassland by yourself and go around the roadless road. After the horseback riding, we will have a lunch picnic in the middle of the grassland with the local farmers who are our “guardians.” After lunch, under the guidance of a guardian, you can enjoy the "Guardian of the Grassland" experience, such as cutting thatch using a traditional sickle and making a rope using pampas grass and thatch from the grassland. 〜Experience schedule〜 10:00 Orientation After meeting at the Aso Grassland Conservation Activity Center, we moved to the northern somma crater experience area by private car. 10:30 Thousand Year Grassland Horse Riding (30 minutes of lecture/training, 60 minutes of horseback riding) Participants will ride their own horses, rather than pulling horses, through the grasslands. 12:00 Thousand Year Grassland Picnic Lunch Example of menu (Please select one from the following when applying.)
