Tour code: A1-RT1A-000120 Depart from Kumamoto City! A bus trip where you can fully experience the charm of Amakusa! This is a great deal that includes a round-trip bus ticket for the "Amakusa-go" between Kumamoto City and Hondo Bus Center + a guided sightseeing bus "Amakusa Gurutto Sightseeing Bus". It is much more economical than buying them separately! This is a packed course that visits the Oe Sakitsu Church, a symbol of Amakusa's Christian culture, which is a component asset (Sakitsu Village in Amakusa) of the World Cultural Heritage "Hidden Christian Sites in the Nagasaki Region", and three museums that convey the history of Christianity to the present. (The number of stops at the Amakusa Christian Museum varies depending on the boarding time.) The Miyajidake Scarecrow Village Roadside Station on the course is a roadside station that reused the abandoned Miyajidake Elementary School, and is the first of its kind in western Japan! It is a very rare roadside station. Please have lunch at the Scarecrow Village Roadside Station Restaurant on your own. (Lunch will be served at Amuri on closed days: 1st and 3rd Wednesdays) There is also a great value "round trip viewing ticket" available! You can purchase it on the day. With this ticket, you can visit all four museums for just 600 yen, instead of the usual 1,000 yen for one adult (Amakusa Christian Museum, Amakusa Collegio Museum, Amakusa Rosario Museum, and Sakitsu Museum Minatoya sell the "round trip viewing ticket" which allows you to visit all four museums at a discount).

Hinohara Village is the only village on land in Tokyo. Deep inside the village, on a ridge well over 700m above sea level, lies the old house "Kyu Kobayashi Family Residence". Built in the mid-Edo period (more than 320 years ago), this mountain house is literally an "old house in the sky". This tour, which takes you there by mountain monorail that goes straight up a super steep slope of nearly 45 degrees, is an extremely extraordinary experience that will leave a deep impression on your memory, both geographically and historically, as well as physically. The tour meets at the Tokyo Back Mountain Base in front of JR Musashi-Itsukaichi Station, and includes transportation to the site by private car. *Hinohara Village has been designated as a national ecotourism promotion area, and as an exception, transportation to the ecotour site by car is permitted. (Your accompanying guide, Jinken, is a certified eco-tour guide for Hinode Village.) For lunch, you will be served at the Kobayashi Family House, with a lunchbox of light snacks (Cuban sandwiches) made specially for the Tokyo Urayama Base, and coffee brewed with water that participants themselves will have drawn from a special spring in the area. After experiencing the old mountain house, we will move on to another highlight of the day. We will stop at Kanoto Rock, a power spot known only to those in the know, and walk along the valley using chains. Here, too, you can experience a part of the local mountain worship and lifestyle culture. On the way back, we will cross a suspension bridge over the valley just beyond the Akigawa River from the village and enjoy a foot bath at a popular local hot spring. Once your feet are warm, we will head to a local cafe renovated from an old house, recommended by our guide (Jinken). We will take a break at CAFE POUND, the most popular cafe in the area, renovated from a Showa-era house by the owner himself. A private car will pick you up from the station, and you will be accompanied by a Hinode Village certified eco-tour guide. It will be a very fulfilling day where you can experience the lifestyle and culture of a mountain village. This is a premium tour with a capacity of only 6 people. (Participation is possible from one person. However, the minimum number of participants for the tour is 2 people.)

Mysterious Kumamoto and Takachiho Journey We will delve deep into the charm of Kumamoto and Takachiho and start a journey full of mystery and natural wonders. First, we will go to Kamiishi-kun Kumano-za, famous for its pilgrimage route decorated with nearly 100 lanterns as if you were lost in a dream world. On the way, there is Kuroto-iwa, which is said to be a huge wind tunnel protruding from Onihachi, a symbol of faith that overcomes difficulties. The shrine's sacred tree, the Nagi, is also an ideal place to make a wish, as it symbolizes matchmaking and business prosperity. Next, head to Amanoiwato Shrine to experience the mystical charm of Japanese mythology. Amanoiwato Shrine is an ancient sacred site dedicated to Amaterasu Omikami. The Tenyasu River within the shrine grounds was originally a popular place to make wishes by piling stones, signifying that wishes would be fulfilled and good fortune would come. In addition to the sacred pilgrimage of worshippers, you can also experience a traditional blessing ceremony. Afterwards, explore Takachiho Gorge, a beautiful valley formed by an ancient volcanic eruption. The cliffs towering on both sides of the valley and the Manai Falls, which give a sense of majestic nature. On the approximately 1 km promenade, you can leisurely stroll through unique scenery such as the "Kihachi Power Stone" and three arch bridges from different eras (Shinbashi Bridge, Showa Bridge, and Shinto Takachiho Bridge). In particular, the 70m-tall Sennin no Byobu Rock has a natural folding screen-like beauty. Each attraction has its own history and natural scenery, allowing you to feel the depth of Japanese culture and the splendor of natural scenery.
