[Hokkaido, Kushiro] Touring the Kushiro Marsh C Course: Around the Kushiro Marsh Course by Sightseeing Taxi

This course takes you all around the Kushiro Marsh, the 28th national park established and the largest naturally rich low-lying marsh in Japan with the largest horizontal extent. View the Kushiro Marsh from the eastern (western) observation deck, then walk along an unpaved road to the western (eastern) observation deck. If you are confident in your time and stamina, there are also some places you can walk (or climb?) to see, such as the Kottaro Marsh Observation Deck, Sarubo Observation Deck, and Yumegaoka Observation Deck. Along the way, you might encounter red-crowned cranes, Ezo deer, or Ezo red foxes (which appear irregularly).

The Kushiro Marsh is a masterpiece of the sea 6,000 years ago, and now it is about 17km east-west and about 36km north-south.
