Plan description

Starting from the outlet of Lake Toro, the largest lake in the Kushiro Wetlands, we will make a 60-minute round trip across the Arekinai River, which connects to the Kushiro River. After the canoe tour, we will move to a place where there are wild birds such as owls and do 60 minutes of bird watching. *We will provide transportation to and from the meeting/dissolution location. ~Tour flow~ 6:30 Pick up from hotel in the city 7:10 Arrival at Kushiro Wetlands and Toro area Go to Toro Station Change clothes and go to canoe port 7:30 Start of canoe tour with the morning sun behind 8:40 Goal →Clean up/hot coffee (service) 9:00 Move to see owls 9:15 Search for owls, cranes, Steller's sea eagles, white-tailed eagles, and long-tailed tits *Binoculars free rental 10:15 End → Transfer to Kushiro city 11:00 AM Kushiro city Arrival *It is not guaranteed that you will be able to see wild birds.

Owl (Ezo-owl) After the canoe tour, we drove to look for Ezo owls and red-crowned cranes. Patrol areas with high probability. In winter, it gets cold, so they come out of their nests and rest in the sun. This is a tour where we refrain from shouting to avoid stress.

[What is Hokkaido Governor Certified Outdoor Guide?] This is Japan's only outdoor qualification system where the Hokkaido Governor officially certifies outdoor guides who provide safe and high-quality services to users. This system is divided into five areas: mountaineering, nature, canoeing, rafting, and trail riding.If you pass the basic test, you will take the advanced test. What is required of a guide, Hokkaido's natural science and culture, outdoor behavior techniques, instruction techniques, natural environment conservation laws and regulations, risk management (accident examples and rope techniques, dangerous flora and fauna and how to deal with them, summer and winter risks in the mountains) You will take a written test on topics such as countermeasures, meteorology, maps, clothing to protect yourself from risks, equipment to prepare for accidents, accident response, first aid, and legal liability).
