This is a highly recommended plan guided by a group of professional guides who won the Special Award (Minister of the Environment Award) at the 2018 Japan Ecotourism Awards. In Hiruzen Shitao, Maniwa City, there is Yamanori Valley, a spectacular place that even locals don't set foot in. River trekking while being splashed by the spray of successive waterfalls is something only experienced people can experience. The experienced members of the Hiruzen Tour Desk will confidently guide you through this hidden spot where 20 to 30 waterfalls of various sizes are lined up. The course is basically for intermediate and above level hikers, but we will provide careful guidance so that beginners can also participate with confidence.

Located in Akaiwa City, Okayama Prefecture, overlooking the Seto Inland Sea, Mount Kuma is a beloved local mountain with an elevation of 508 meters, yet it also fascinates visitors with its ancient mysteries. There are 33 stone pyramids in the Kumayama area, the largest of which, located near the summit, is known as the Kumayama Ruins. The Historical Mystery Trail Walk - Kumayama Ruins Edition - explores the rich natural surroundings of Mount Kuma, including a rare stone pyramid unparalleled anywhere in Japan, as well as relics that offer clues to solving its mysteries. Long ago, Japanese people saw gods in nature. Until the introduction of Buddhism approximately 1,500 years ago, the Japanese believed that eight million gods resided within nature and worshipped it. They believed that gods resided in the sea, rivers, mountains, rocks, trees, natural phenomena such as rain and wind, and even in each land. Nature was both an object of awe and awe, but also a source of blessings, inspiring respect and awe. The idea of "living with nature" and "being in harmony with nature" formed the foundation of Japanese spirituality and has been passed down to the present day.
