The headwaters of the Yamanori River in Hiruzenshitao, Maniwa City, Okayama Prefecture, is a treasure trove of giant beech and quercus crispula trees. According to the definition of the Ministry of the Environment, a giant tree is 130 cm above the ground and has a circumference of 3 meters or more, but there are more than 60 beech trees at the headwaters of the Yamanori River. It is a tour that takes 5 to 7 hours to slowly go around 10 or more of them with a walking distance of less than 2 km. Especially from mid-May to early June, you can see endangered species. This is a great opportunity! !!
It takes more than 30 minutes to walk 10 meters in areas where Nemagari mushrooms are concentrated. If you put your foot in, it won't come out, and if you take it out, you won't be able to put your foot in, so don't worry. Avoid it and proceed. A long Nemagaridake has been recorded as 427 cm, but most are around 250 cm. If you wish, we also have a route where you can experience Oyabu for 10 to 15 minutes during the tour.
