Departing from and arriving at Sapporo Station! We will introduce two recommended spots for bird watching in the winter forest around Lake Utonai. This is a tour for beginner birdwatchers. There is a lunch break along the way. We will start by explaining how to use binoculars, how to look for birds, and how to take good photos while walking around the field. Basically, the path is well-maintained, so small children (5 years old and up) can participate. This is a snowshoe tour that takes you to the hidden spots of Lake Shikotsu, the northernmost frozen lake in Japan near Sapporo. We provide free transportation to and from Sapporo Station. Walk along the waterfront of Lake Shikotsu, which can only be walked in winter, and enter the winter forest. Aim for the moss corridor. You can fully feel the mystical space of the winter forest and the green corridor covered with moss all over the walls.
