Try your hand at making an authentic parquet keychain by cutting and gluing parquet blocks that make use of the natural wood color! Wood comes in a variety of colors, from brown, red, yellow, and even purple. The parquet block bars that form the basis of parquet work are made in advance by instructor Matsuura. You cut them with a craftsman's saw and combine them to make hearts, leaves, and any other shape you like. Once firmly glued together, polish them with sandpaper and finish with oil to complete the piece. Instructor Matsuura of Studio Kaede is a talented artist who won the top prize at the Dobi Exhibition in 2019. He will kindly teach even beginners the authentic craftsmanship!

Assemble a frame using wood from Hokkaido and assemble 20 types of wood parts in your favorite combination to create your own original photo frame! You can make a photo frame to your liking. The instructor, Matsuura from Kobo Kaede, is a skilled craftsman who won the Hokkaido Governor's Award, the highest award at the Hokkaido Art Exhibition. He has many years of workshop experience, so even beginners can create fun and long-lasting works. Perfect for independent research during long holidays. Or as a photo frame to put special photos in. The more effort you put in, the better the result!

In Naganuma, a town of flowers, there are people who collect beautiful flowers, carefully press them, and create various works of art. Among the various crafts, the pressed flower group "Yuri" will provide clear files for the experience, which even beginners can easily make beautifully. Naganuma Town, an hour's drive from Sapporo, produces beautiful flowers. Why not try to be soothed by flowers in Naganuma Town? With the advice of an instructor, you can freely arrange seasonal flowers from the surrounding area in a special box set with absorbent sponges. It's fun! Naganuma Town is famous for its rice and vegetable production, but in fact there are many wonderful flower producers. So Maoi, a flower shop that fell in love with the flowers of Naganuma Town, moved from Sapporo to the town. Their outstanding flower arranging sense has attracted the attention of various industries, and they were even entrusted with the flowers for the opening of a certain luxury hotel on the shores of Lake Shikotsu that recently opened. The shop is always full of fresh flowers. When you order a bouquet, they will ask you, "Who is this for?" and arrange it to suit the recipient and the image of the sender. As they fell in love with the flowers of Naganuma, they have built strong relationships with local flower farmers. There are many flowers that are only grown in Naganuma. Naganuma Town is about an hour's drive from Sapporo, and you can experience the finishing touches of the traditional craft "Wakasa chopsticks"! The final step in making Wakasa chopsticks is polishing. Colorful painted patterns and mother-of-pearl appear on the black lacquered chopsticks.
