A swordsmith will teach you the techniques of Japanese sword making and spend a whole day making a short sword with a blade length of less than 30 cm. During the experience, charcoal cutting, tamaheshi, tsutsubokashi, forging, unbending, fire making, soil placement, quenching, and blacksmith sharpening will be performed. The sword will then be registered and sharpened at a later date, and will be shipped to your home along with a registration certificate. If you select an option, you can also choose a Japanese sword such as a wakizashi (large) (small), katana, or tachi. Registration, packaging, and shipping fees are all included in the price. *Due to the Firearms and Swords Possession Control Act, the swordsmith will engrave the swordsmith's name on the sword. It is possible to engrave the participant's name as well. In addition, registration and sharpening are required, so it will take 6 to 9 months to deliver the sword. *The address, name, and phone number are required for the owner's details for the registration review and for shipping the finished product. If they are different from those registered with Activity Japan, please be sure to contact us here. If there is no contact, we will register and ship the sword as is. *If shipping overseas, please check for yourself whether the country can receive Japanese swords.
