This is a full-scale archery experience plan supervised by archer Ando Kotaro, who has appeared on many TV shows and radio programs! Would you like to try traditional archery that is a little different from Kyudo? Did you know that Kyudo did not exist during the samurai era before the Edo period (such as the Sengoku and Muromachi periods)? It will satisfy a wide range of levels, from the basics for beginners to practical practice of attaching an arrow to a waist and rapid shooting practice for those with Kyudo experience. Even those who are not physically strong can enjoy archery with peace of mind, as we also lend out short and weak bows and accommodate experiences while sitting on a chair. The event will be held outdoors.
An absolute hidden gem. This small Kyudo range offers more than just archery—it offers insight, history, and heart. The owner is incredibly hospitable and uniquely knowledgeable, welcoming you with warmth and genuine curiosity no matter your level. What truly sets him apart is his fearless dedication to uncovering the historical roots of Kyujutsu. He challenges mainstream Kyudo norms with careful research and a reverence for the forgotten truths of traditional Japanese archery. His passion is contagious, his instruction profound, and the experience unforgettable.
