"Arayu Pudding" is a pudding made by boiling it in a hot spring at 98℃. I was born at Yumura Onsen in Shinonsen Town, Hyogo. You can try your hand at making pudding mainly on weekends. Please come and enjoy our freshly made pudding. ~Experience flow~ ① Gathering and reception (5 minutes) ② Explanation (5 minutes) Flow of the day, confirmation of allergies to eggs and milk ③ Experience (35 minutes) After mixing the ingredients well, pour the pudding liquid into a balloon container using a large syringe. I'll pack it up. After that, put the pudding in a hot water bath net and put it in the hot water. While you wait until the Yugaki is finished, we will guide you through the streets of Yumura Onsen, which retains its Showa-era retro feel. We also recommend boiling eggs in the hot springs and soaking in the footbath. ④Eating (15 minutes) Return to the cafe and enjoy the pudding. Comes with coffee or juice. ⑤Disband After disbanding, please take a walk around Yumura Onsen. We will also show you recommended places.

Each kanji character has a meaning, and the appearance of the font is considered beautiful, so ``kanji'' themselves are very popular among foreigners, who often wear T-shirts with large kanji prints on them. Many of you may have seen foreigners with Chinese characters or kanji tattoos on their bodies. The customer chooses such a kanji, and we will explain the calligraphy mindset, tools, and movements, so that they can deeply understand ``Hinomoto Calligraphy'' and write down the kanji they have chosen with a brush.

The calligraphy of death is something that a samurai writes down with a brush as his last words in this world when he foresees his death. (Death refers to leaving this world) Customers can write their favorite kanji. You can select a character (kanji) and write it with an extra-large brush on SAMURAI paper (16 times the size of normal hanshi), which is made by combining two sheets of hanshi paper that is 8 times the size of normal hanshi paper. (Example) Yukimura Sanada's death note, ``If you go to live in an indefinite floating world, you will not know what will happen one day later.'' (In such an unstable world, we do not know what will happen tomorrow. Please think of Naniwa as something that doesn't exist in this world.'' Toyotomi Hideyoshi's deathbed writings, ``The dew falls, the dew falls and disappears.'' I wonder if Naniwa is also a dream within a dream (I became a citizen, but the dew fell and disappeared.) It was a life that seemed to disappear.)

Osaka no Jin ⚔ Pilgrimage to sacred places refers to the stages of battles such as the 1614 (Keicho 19) battle "Osaka Winter Jin" and the 1615 (Genna 1) restarted battle "Osaka Summer Jin" and other battles. It is to visit places connected to Osaka Castle as sacred places with “SAMURAI STYLE”. In addition, the term ``Japan's best soldier, who acted with great courage and speed'' in that battle was a name used to praise Sanada Nobushige (Yukimura), who was loyal to his lord, did not betray him even with money or territory, and was close to Tokugawa Ieyasu during the Summer Siege in Osaka. . Yukimura Sanada shined dazzlingly as a Sengoku military commander in the battle that concluded the Sengoku period. His vivid life still fascinates many people today, and let's make a pilgrimage to the sacred place of his glorious battle at Osaka, where he was praised as ``the greatest soldier in Japan.''

This is a plan to commemorate and make a pilgrimage to the sad sacred place where SAMURAI and his friends were defeated in the Osaka Siege in the last war and fell to the castle, wearing armor and helmets reminiscent of the battle. ~ A famous castle that records the history of prosperity and turmoil of the people of Japan ~ This is how Osaka Castle is introduced on its official website. However, there was no trace of Osaka Castle, which boasted of being impregnable, as all of the moats other than the main castle and the moat that had been dug back during the peace of Ieyasu's plot at the Osaka Siege were filled in. The Tokugawa army destroyed the Sanada army and invaded the castle one after another, led by the Echizen army led by Matsudaira Tadanao, who was the first to arrive. The fire set by a Tokugawa army informer in the main castle kitchen quickly destroyed the castle tower. Osaka Castle finally fell at midnight on the 7th. When Hinomoto's greatest soldier, Nobushige, was a hostage of the Toyotomi family, he was liked by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, so he was treated more like a vassal than a hostage. The reason Yukimura sided with Toyotomi, who was at an overwhelming disadvantage at the Battle of Osaka, was to protect his loyalty to Hideyoshi. ``This Yukimura was summoned to a place where he was simply trying to prolong his life, and he was given honor as a samurai. This kindness cannot be replaced by land or money. ''When Ieyasu tried to persuade him to defect, he said, ``I have no intention of defecting even if I receive half of Japan.'' ``If you forget your debts and indulge in self-interest, can you call yourself a human being?'' he left behind the words of Hinomoto's greatest soldier.

You can experience calligraphy, a traditional Japanese culture, using real tools. Unlike the calligraphy sets you can buy at shopping malls or schools, we use calligraphy tools procured from traditional calligraphy shops, so it's perfect for those who want to get a taste of the real thing and Japanese culture. This plan is available in Japanese, English, Spanish, and Italian. Most calligraphy experiences take 60 to 90 minutes, but the JanDara calligraphy experience takes 180 minutes. You can communicate well with other calligraphers. Approximately 10 minutes from anywhere from Haneda Airport, Shinagawa, or Yokohama! We will rent Ota Sangyo Plaza PiO, which is a 3-minute walk from the station. This is a spacious 40 tatami Japanese-style room that can accommodate up to 54 people, where you can sit in a sitting position or sit on a horigotatsu (horizontal kotatsu) and do calligraphy with your feet down. If you are not comfortable sitting up straight, you can stretch your legs and participate in a relaxed state. For those who would like to experience the numbness of their legs while sitting seiza like an authentic Japanese person, we will prepare them so that they can experience it sitting seiza. When deciding which characters to write on colored paper, teach them the Japanese meaning. Creating Japanese names together will be a lot of fun! At the end of the experience, you will eat Japanese sweets. You can take the completed work home with you. Not only that, you can scan your work and hand it over as data, so you can post it on SNS, make a record, make an announcement, or create materials. You can also make original T-shirts and mugs in your own country since the data will remain in your possession!

Unlike the calligraphy sets you can buy at shopping malls or schools, we use calligraphy tools procured from traditional calligraphy shops, so it's perfect for those who want to get a taste of the real thing and Japanese culture. This plan will be conducted in Japanese. This is for international students to improve their Japanese and to have more communication with their host families and companions who understand Japanese. Our ancestors were shinobi samurai who started to serve Tokugawa Ieyasu (the first shogun of the Tokugawa Shogunate) in 1582. The clan served the shogunate for 265 years. In 1868, the clan declined the invitation from the Meiji Government and became independent. We are the only lasting shinobi clan in Japan. Why not make your own original goshuincho at the popular Japanese culture experience cafe in Asakusa? Goshuincho are used by worshippers to keep a record of their travels and pilgrimages and visits when they visit Japanese temples and shrines. First, you can make an upcycled goshuincho that is kind to the earth, using recycled materials such as scraps from the kimono manufacturing process, used paper bags and wrapping paper. Choose your favorite pattern from the materials and make your own favorite goshuincho! The staff will support you, so even beginners can enjoy creating. If you visit shrines and temples with your handmade goshuincho, it will become a deeper memory. ●What is upcycling? It is to give new added value to things or unnecessary items that would otherwise be discarded, upgrade them into new products, and reborn them. In order to switch from a consumer society in which things are mass-produced and consumed to a sustainable society, the keyword upcycling is very important.

Why not paint papier-mâché, a lucky charm, with an original design at Asakusa's popular Japanese culture experience cafe? Papier-mâché is a piece of paper made from a frame made of wood or other materials and covered with Japanese paper. It originally originated in China, but is said to have come to Japan during the Heian period. They come in many shapes, but many are in the shape of animals, and they have come to be valued as lucky charms. First, choose the plain body of your choice. Once you have decided on the body, use your imagination and color your ideas with paint. The staff will support you, so even beginners can enjoy creating. Papier mache is hollow and very light, so it is very popular as a souvenir from travel. [Selectable Body Types] ▶Daruma The ``Daruma'' has been valued as a talisman and auspicious item since ancient times because of its rounded shape, which means that it can get back up again and again even if it falls down. Papier-mâché daruma dolls have the meaning of warding off evil spirits, family harmony, and having wishes come true, so they are used for general wishes such as prosperous business and sure victory. ▶Maneki Neko Cats were used as lucky charms for sericulture in ancient times, as they exterminated rats that ate crops and silkworms, but after sericulture declined, they became a lucky charm for business prosperity. There is a theory that beckoning cats were originally made using a pottery method called Imado ware, which was produced around Imado Town in Asakusa. *Contains opinions▶ Fox masks Fox masks are used in Nohgaku (general term for Noh and Kyogen) and Kagura (dances and songs performed to worship gods). At Inari shrines, they are often considered to be auspicious objects, as if they are enshrined as messengers of the gods. Additionally, the fox mask is said to bring blessings such as a rich harvest, prosperous business, and safety for the family. *Depending on stock availability, we may not be able to provide the body you desire.
Had a great time painting a daruma! It was very strait-forward and they offered many different options (watercolors, acrylics, markers, ect). Location is nice too right by Asakusa.

Welcome to Kanazawa! You can have fun on both sunny and rainy days! Kanazawa is a city where kimonos look good, but it's a waste to just wear a kimono and go sightseeing! We have a variety of patterns available, such as Kanazawa Station's Tsuzumimon, Kenrokuen's Kotoji Lantern, and Kanazawa Castle, so please choose the one you like! Don't worry, there are also simple designs for children, such as dinosaurs and flowers. It doesn't require any special skills, so anyone can easily do it.
