Canoeing and ice play in the pure white Kushiro Marsh under the 946 blue sky. This is your chance to encounter the fantastic Kushiro Marsh!!! The field is the "Alekinei River", a tributary of the Kushiro River that flows through Kushiro Marsh National Park, and "Lake Toroko", the largest lake in the Kushiro Marsh. The canoeing starts from Lake Toroko and takes about 60 minutes of river watching, going back and forth on the Alekinei River. The narrow and shallow Alekinei River is the perfect spot to find wild animals and winter wonders. Enjoy the delicate winter objects that can only be seen by canoeing and the silence that can only be experienced by canoeing. After canoeing, you can experience drilling holes in the ice on the lake?!?! A guide will guide you through an experience that can only be done in winter. * Round-trip transportation is available from near Kushiro Station. You can participate without worrying about snowy roads. * A guide will accompany you, so even first-timers can experience it with peace of mind. *The canoe will go back and forth between Lake Toro and the Arekinai River (it will not enter the main stream of the Kushiro River). *As this will be an experience in a shallow river, dry suits will not be required.
