A swordsmith will teach you how to make Japanese knives using blacksmith techniques. Using the same material as Japanese swords, Tamahagane, the forged iron is shaped with a hammer. You can make your own clay holder and add a blade crest. Attach the blade, cut your name on it, and sharpen it to complete it. Although it is a physically demanding job, the swordsmith will be happy to assist you, so don't worry if you are not confident in doing the heavy lifting, such as children or women. You can take photos and videos while working! The trial fee is for one Japanese knife. You can also make one book for two or more people. You will spend a whole day making a small scale attached to the Japanese sword. The material is the same as the Japanese sword, and the world's highest grade iron (tamahagane) is used.
