Plan description

After closing time, Okayama Castle will be rented out for the night. A "Sword Trial Experience" will be held at a special outdoor venue. In addition, "Kachidoki Meshi," a banquet dish from the Warring States period that Uesugi Kenshin, who loved Bizen swords, ate to pray for victory before going into battle, will be arranged for inbound tourists. Gastronomy using an abundance of local Okayama products will be served in the castle tower.

Performance by Okayama Castle Rifle Corps

A special performance will be held on the Karasu Castle Water Cruise, where the musketeers will appear blowing conch horns. You can also watch a dance performance by the Okayama Castle musketeers using matchlock guns at Dan Hiroba under Okayama Castle.

Sword-cutting experience at the outdoor plaza of Okayama Castle

At a special outdoor venue in Okayama Castle, you will try on armor and try out a sword-cutting experience (with safety measures fully ensured).

Okayama Castle is available for private hire for the night. A limited edition revival of banquet cuisine from the Warring States period

We will rent out Okayama Castle for the night after closing time and provide participants with a gastronomic experience in the castle tower. We will be reviving for a limited time the "Kachidoki Meshi" banquet cuisine of the Warring States period, when Uesugi Kenshin, who loved the famous Bizen swords, cooked a mountain of rice and fed it to his soldiers along with an abundance of seafood and mountain produce in prayer for victory when he went into battle.
