Hatsushima is a small island about 10km offshore from Atami. Access is 23 minutes by regular boat departing from Atami Port and Ito Port! Because it is a western island, "tide" is outstanding. It grows many migratory fish and healthy soft corals (corals without a skeleton). Thanks to this, even when the transparency of other diving areas along the Higashiizu coast is poor, Hatsushima is often relatively good and you can enjoy resort diving!
