Plan description

This is a limited-time offer from January 17th to March 15th, 2026. For approximately three months starting in January, humpback whales visit Okinawa in the winter to raise their young. This is your chance to observe mother and calf whales up close. Important Notes: This tour is intended to be a snorkeling experience. Swimming and diving are prohibited to ensure the whales are seen in their natural habitat. Our staff will do their utmost to ensure you see the whales. However, as whales are natural creatures, they will swim around. We cannot guarantee 100% success. There are no refunds or discounts, so we appreciate your understanding. Participation Requirements: Diving license holders. Ages 15-55. Schedule: 7:00 AM Hotel pickup and drop-off. 8:00 AM Departure. Whale search. Swim. Observe whale behavior on board. Confirm the timing of your swim and prepare to enter the water. Enter the water slowly as a team. Take a hot shower and change clothes on board the whale observation boat. Return to port at 2:30 PM. *The number of swims is limited to minimize stress on the whales.
