Explore the forests and frozen river, the Satsunai River, at the foot of Hidaka Mountains National Park in Tokachi, Hokkaido, on snowshoes. Enjoy a snowshoe hike while observing nature, learning about the origins of nature and the relationship between animals and the river. Enjoy tea time on the frozen river with Tokachi sweets and hot drinks. This tour allows you to enjoy a relaxing time and space.
You can enjoy snow hiking through the deserted riparian forests of Tokanich, a somewhat niche spot not well known even among locals.
In Hokkaido, temperatures can drop below -20°C in winter, but the source of the Satsunai River offers a view that can only be seen in the harsh winter. If you're lucky, you can enjoy tea on the ice while watching the "ice bubbles" that form when the clear, transparent water of summer freezes over and methane gas from the riverbed is trapped in the ice.

We provide pick-up service within Nakasatsunai Roadside Station Country Plaza. We also provide pick-up service to Obihiro Airport, Ferry Endorf, Snow Peak Camp Field, Satsunaigawa Park Campground, and other locations. *Please note that we may not be able to provide pick-up service in some cases.
