Fukushima Silk Road Journey - 3-Day, 2-Night Plan - Private (Exclusive) & Guide-Accompanied - Ideal for Inbound Tourists - Discover Fukushima's New Charms Based on its Sericulture and Weaving Culture - This 3-day, 2-night trip explores the Tohoku region's traditional sericulture and weaving culture, as well as Fukushima's world-renowned silk weaving techniques. Experience the world's thinnest silk fabric and meet artisans who work on everything from sericulture to weaving. Experience crafting silkworm puffs and silk lotion using silkworm cocoons in a workshop. Experience the history of Neko Shrine, a shrine deeply connected to sericulture, and the region's transformation into a major fruit-producing region. On Day 1, you'll stay at a long-established inn in Iizaka Onsen, a nationally registered tangible cultural property. On Day 2, you'll stay at a long-established inn in Takayu Onsen. On Day 3, you can choose from an optional plan to explore new attractions. This tour offers an opportunity to rediscover Fukushima's value through its history, culture, fashion, and cuisine. *This tour will be accompanied by a licensed guide.
