Fukushima Silk Road Journey - 2-Day, 1-Night Plan - Private (Exclusive) & Guide-Interpreter Accompanied - Ideal for Inbound Tourists - Experience the Culture and Techniques of Sericulture and Weaving - Experience the traditional culture of sericulture and weaving that remains in the Tohoku region, and experience the world-renowned silk weaving industry on this 2-day, 1-night trip. Experience the world's thinnest silk fabric and meet artisans who work on everything from sericulture to weaving. Stay at a long-established inn, a nationally registered tangible cultural property, for a time-traveling experience. On the second day, you'll visit a workshop where you'll learn about making silkworm puffs and silk lotion using silk cocoons. After lunch, experience Neko Shrine, closely connected to sericulture, and Fukushima's history as a major fruit-producing region. This program offers an opportunity to rediscover the value of Fukushima through its history, culture, fashion, and cuisine. *A guide-interpreter will accompany you on this tour.
