Fukushima Silk Road Journey - 2-Day, 1-Night Plan - Private (Exclusive) & Guide-Interpreter Accompanied - Ideal for Inbound Tourists - Experience the Culture and Techniques of Sericulture and Weaving - Experience the traditional culture of sericulture and weaving that remains in the Tohoku region, and experience the world-renowned silk weaving industry on this 2-day, 1-night trip. Experience the world's thinnest silk fabric and meet artisans who work on everything from sericulture to weaving. Stay at a long-established inn, a nationally registered tangible cultural property, for a time-traveling experience. On the second day, you'll visit a workshop where you'll learn about making silkworm puffs and silk lotion using silk cocoons. After lunch, experience Neko Shrine, closely connected to sericulture, and Fukushima's history as a major fruit-producing region. This program offers an opportunity to rediscover the value of Fukushima through its history, culture, fashion, and cuisine. *A guide-interpreter will accompany you on this tour.

Plan attractions
Main experience on the first day: Visit to a textile factory You can tour the factory that produces the world's thinnest silk fabric, "Fairy Feather," and shop here.
Main experience on the second day: ≪Craft experience in the workshop≫ There is a wide range of workshops available, including making fresh lotion using sericin, a moisturizing ingredient extracted from raw silk cocoons, making silk floss, sericulture, and dyeing with plants and indigo. All experiences are conducted in small groups, allowing you to learn at your own pace in a homely atmosphere.
Accommodation: A long-established inn that is a registered tangible cultural property Nakamuraya Ryokan in Iizaka Onsen retains the atmosphere of the Edo and Meiji periods, and is a place where you can spend a special night, blending memories of the past with modern comforts.
