[Tottori, Mochigase] A rare sight in Japan! Attack the beautiful caves of the Akanamigawa Valley!

This river trekking experience takes place in the Akanami River Valley potholes in Mochigase Town, Tottori City, Tottori Prefecture. This valley area is home to a beautiful group of potholes, rare even in Japan. The tour takes approximately two hours before the end. You'll see up to 13 potholes, and a local guide will accompany you at all times! It's especially suitable for elementary school students and families from all over Japan! Even first-time river adventures are welcome! We'll deliver a memorable summer experience. To ensure safety, we offer the following points: Water levels are kept low enough for feet to touch the ground; specialized equipment (life jackets, helmets, and specialized shoes) is provided; and weather and water levels are checked before deciding whether to proceed. Hope you've grown a little! ~Experience Process~ ① Check-in: Cashless payment is accepted on-site. Please complete the participation agreement by the day of the event. After changing into clothing, adjust your gear size, and hand over your drinks to the guide. ② Departure: The guide will lead the way in a light truck, driving approximately five minutes upstream. ③ Start of the trek: After warming up, you'll check in safely and enter the water. ④ End of trekking: Walk overland back down to your car. ⑤ End of trek: You can change clothes in the pop-up tent on-site or in the shower room at the campsite.

Wear a helmet, life jacket, and special shoes and explore the river safely! This program allows you to become one with the water by jumping off rocks, floating and feeling the current, spotting river fish, and sliding down natural slides.

The greatest pleasure is being able to see scenery that cannot be seen from land! Some of the 30 caves offer fantastic views! If you are confident in your physical strength, try to conquer them all!

Even guides who have climbed the mountain many times struggle with the huge rock standing in the way of "Cat's Edge." It's the final boss of the cave! If necessary, you can use a rope to climb up, so give it a try!
