Plan description

The fish is simply delicious! This is a fishing pond. You can enjoy fishing in a natural environment using meltwater from the Zao mountain range. The five ponds have water so clear that you can clearly see the patterns of the fish. The stream that runs through the premises plays a beautiful sound. You can grill the fish you catch yourself over charcoal. In addition to charcoal-raised char, yamame, and rainbow trout in Zao, there is also coho salmon, a specialty of Miyagi Prefecture. A wide range of fish are released, from small ones with a body length of 10 cm to ones over 70 cm and 5 kg. You can come empty-handed, and even a complete beginner can catch an average of six fish. Everyone, regardless of gender, children or adults, can enjoy the experience. The speciality pork soup and rice balls are included.

1. Fish is delicious

The fish we use are carefully raised to be sold to inns and high-end restaurants, and are extremely delicious. We thoroughly manage the water quality and feed after the fish arrive at our restaurant, so you can enjoy the best river fish. The fish you catch will be cooked either salt-grilled or deep-fried.

2. You can enjoy Miyagi Prefecture

The shop offers a wide variety of Miyagi-originated foods, including fish raised in Zao, Miyagi's specialty coho salmon, pork soup made with locally grown vegetables and pork, shaved ice made with natural water, and more. It is also close to Zao's Okama and Togatta Onsen, various ski resorts, and Zao Fox Village, making it a perfect stopover for sightseeing.

3. Come empty-handed

The rental fee for a full set of fishing equipment is included in the price, so you can come to the store empty-handed. You can catch large fish over 70 cm with the rental rod. The bait is edible dried shrimp, so it is easy to use even for those who don't like insects or earthworms.
