Are you unsure how to start creating a story?This course is perfect for you. You can either produce a text-only story or a manga. Turn your fun experience into an easy-to-understand story using the manga conception method! Even if you've never created a story before, no problem. Your experience will transform into a story by just answering our “Magic 12 Questions”.Learn the fundamentals of manga in Kyoto, the heart of manga education in Japan!We look forward to welcoming you in the same building as the Pokémon Center Kyoto.[No previous experience is necessary.]
You may be familiar with the "5W1H" questions. That is useful for writing a diary or a report, but not enough for creating a manga or a script. Why? Because it lacks a perspective on emotions and growth. So what should you do ?
All you have to do is answer the "Magic 12 Questions". It is the most fundamental secret of how to create stories, which the lecturer Matsuda-sensei taught in the Manga Department of a university in Kyoto to great acclaim. By simply answering these "Magic 12 Questions", you can turn your experiences into stories and the most basic template for writing manga and screenplays. By the end of this course, you will have the basics of storytelling.
Matsuda-sensei will teach you from the very first steps of manga production. He made his debut at Kodansha, Japan's second-largest publisher known for famous manga titles such as "Attack on Titan" "Tokyo Revengers" and "Sailor Moon", then drew weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly series for that company and others, and is a professional manga artist with exceptional mastery of the craft and many years of teaching in the manga department of the university in Kyoto.
