The Junmai sake, brewed with locally harvested sake rice and the traditional Akita-style cold brewing method by Toji Yamauchi, is highly regarded as "the sake of the divine dance village." It won the gold medal at the 2023 New Sake Tasting Competition and the "Excellent Award" for the third consecutive year at the 2024 Akita Prefecture Sake Competition in the Akita Prefecture Rice Division. With the full cooperation of the brewery "Oonogawa" in Yokote City, Akita Prefecture, you can experience sake brewing from rice planting to harvesting, fermentation, pressing, and bottling. The second part is an experience of "washing rice", "steaming rice", "making koji" and "making yeast starter"! After learning about the Akita-style three-stage brewing method and the mechanism of sake fermentation and multiple parallel fermentation, you can enjoy a tour of the brewery with the brewers. There will also be a tasting and sales event for precious sake! =====================================================The third installment is finally the "New Sake Pressing Experience" ★ Look forward to it!
