Karuizawa Garden Farm High Grade Strawberry Picking Complete Course: You will be guaranteed to try all 8 varieties, including premium white and black strawberries. You can take home the strawberries you picked yourself as a souvenir (250g of red strawberries). You can enjoy strawberry picking for 1 hour (including all-you-can-eat and picking strawberries for souvenirs). *You can enjoy comparing the taste of 8 varieties cultivated by Karuizawa Garden Farm, including Shinku no Misuzu (black strawberry), Shinjuhime (white strawberry), premium "Royal Queen", "Yotsuboshi" and "Kaorino", which won prizes at the strawberry championships, as well as "Benihoppe", "Koiminori", and "Yayoihime". (Depending on the growing conditions of the strawberries, some varieties may be provided that have been picked by staff, or they may be substituted with experimental varieties.) *You can freely pick 250 grams of red strawberries for souvenirs. Although the harvest volume is reduced by the time-consuming manual bud picking (thinning), we are ingenious in creating strawberries with a rich flavor that you have never tasted before. Please enjoy this experience that can only be experienced in Karuizawa to your heart's content. All strawberry houses are grown in clean elevated cultivation, making picking easy. It is about a 15-minute drive from Karuizawa Station, in the Firefly Village with a great view surrounded by the majestic Mt. Asama.
