Plan description

Pearls are Japanese gemstones that are attracting attention from around the world. In Kobe, where many pearl processing workshops are located, you can experience applying gold leaf to pearls and tour the processing site. The experience takes place on board Japan's largest restaurant passenger ship, which represents Kobe. After the experience, you can enjoy a cruise lunch. (A special price has been set as an after-campaign for the Hyogo Destination Campaign! Participants will receive a "small gift to use on your trip"! *) *We will mail it to you at a later date.

Pearl gold leaf pasting experience and small seminar

This program includes a mini seminar where you can experience applying gold leaf to pearls and learn about the history of pearls. In the gold leaf application, you will apply adhesive to the pearls and then apply gold leaf by hand with a toothpick. Since you will be attaching the pearls by hand with your own hands, you will be able to create a one-of-a-kind pearl. You can take home the pearl as a pendant (or earrings). (Children can also try this.) *Other accessory production is also available as an option. *Accessory making may take place outside the ship.

For lunch, we offer cruise lunch on Japan's largest restaurant passenger ship "Luminous Kobe 2" or "Concerto"

Lunch is a cruise lunch. You can enjoy a buffet style or course lunch. (*Contents may change depending on the ship and day) The cruise is a course where you can also see the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, also known as the Pearl Bridge, on Luminous. At the concerto, live music is performed and you can enjoy an elegant moment. *The ship you board will vary depending on the reservation date. Details will be provided at the time of reservation.

Walking around Kitano area and observing processing

After disembarking, we moved to the Kitano area and observed Indian pearl processing techniques. You can experience the processing technology up close while enjoying the atmosphere of Kobe. (We plan to use a taxi for transportation (included in the price)) *On days when the craftsman is absent, he may explain processing techniques while showing tools.
