This is a service that allows foreign tourists to experience the good old days of "Showa schools", one of the hidden charms of Japanese culture, at our abandoned school campground, CAMPiece Kimitsu (Kimitsu City, Chiba). A certain rural town in Japan, the era is Showa... Enroll for one day at a school nestled in a rural landscape surrounded by nature. A “homeroom teacher” will actually teach the class in the classroom. Participants wear school uniforms and sailor uniforms. It starts with the entrance ceremony, morning homeroom, day shift, calligraphy and history classes, school lunch, sports day, and finally the graduation ceremony where the students receive their diplomas. You will experience a simulated "school life" that Japanese students have experienced. *The “homeroom teacher” will basically conduct the class in English 1. Morning homeroom 2. Japanese language “Calligraphy” 3. Lunch 4. Social studies “History” 5. Physical education “Sports day” 6. Cleaning time 7. Graduation Ceremony 8, Festival *Optional options include camping in the schoolyard and staying at a hot spring inn.
We have sailor uniforms and school uniforms that are familiar from anime and dramas! Multiple sizes are available. Of course, indoor shoes are also available!
Japanese language class includes a calligraphy experience where you write your favorite kanji and name on a battledore, social studies class includes a cosplay experience where you dress up as an Edo period merchant, samurai, ninja, and town girl while learning about Japanese history, and physical education class includes a cosplay experience where you dress up as a ninja. You can have a sports day throwing shuriken!
For lunch, we will prepare school lunches that Japanese students actually eat, and you can experience unique Japanese school culture such as cleaning time and evacuation drills.

Arriving at School You can reach the school in Chiba via our shuttle bus service from Shinjuku, by taking a public bus from Tokyo Station, or by arranging your own transportation such as a taxi.
Change into a Japanese School Uniform! Choose a uniform that fits you best from a wide variety of sizes and styles, and change in the designated dressing room.
Calligraphy You can choose to write your name or a favorite phrase as part of the calligraphy experience.
Take Home a Souvenir The completed hagoita (traditional paddle) can be taken home as a souvenir.
Japanese school lunch Enjoy a school lunch menu that is actually served in Japanese schools.
Dress Up in Traditional Costumes Change into kimono, samurai, or ninja outfits and enjoy a fun photo session
