If you want to fully enjoy Wazuka, the home of tea, we recommend the tea picking experience! Wazuka Town, which was selected as one of Japan's top 100 beautiful villages, grows so many tea leaves that it is called the origin of tea, and still produces just under 40% of Uji tea. At the Wazuka tea plantation, we offer a Wazuka tea picking experience from March to November. You can take all the tea leaves you pick home with you. Please feel free to enjoy the tea bath and tea leaf tempura♪Also, it takes about 30 minutes to reach Nara Park from Wazuka Town, so you can also plan a plan that also includes sightseeing in Nara♪

Ishidera tea plantation is famous as a scenic spot in Wazuka town. All of the small mountains are tea plantations, and the power of the tea plantations stretching up to the sky is attractive. I would like you to see the contrast between the green and blue sky that spreads out over a 180-degree field of view.

The tea picking experience in Chagenkyo is exceptional☆ If you want to fully enjoy Wazuka, the home of tea, we recommend the tea picking experience! You can take your picked tea leaves home♪ Wazuka Town cultivates so many tea leaves that it is called the tea origin town, and even today it is a production area that produces just under 40% of Uji tea. At Wazukaya, the "Tea Soba Making Experience" using "Wazuka Tea" is very popular, but if you are going to make Cha Soba, why not try picking the tea yourself? At the Wazuka tea plantation, we offer a Wazuka tea picking experience from April to November. The set includes tea picking experience, tea soba noodles, and tea leaf tempura making experience. You can enjoy the finished dish on the spot. Also, it takes about 30 minutes to get to Nara Park from Wazuka Town, so you can make plans that also include sightseeing in Nara.
