Become yourself a sake master after taking part in EDGE OF NIIGATA's unique lecture. You will not only gain the skills to differentiate all the types of sake, but you will also learn the best food pairing options for each type. The lecture takes place in a renovated traditional Japanese home that is now a restaurant-café with a unique retro feel. First, you will receive our Sake presentation. Then, you can test your new skills with practice. Try four different types of Sake and match them with freshly prepared delicious traditional Japanese dishes.
Our lecture on preparation and characteristics of Niigata's sake, sake tasting methods, and the rules at an izakaya is delivered by an internationally accredited sake Master.
Taste four distinctive types of sake and practice placing them in the proper categories. In addition, practice pairing freshly prepared food with the four different types of sake. Our goal is to allow to you enjoy your meal while understanding the individuality of sake and choosing the best dish to go with it.
