No. 2 deepest in Japan! The northernmost ice-free lake in Japan! Experience the majestic nature created by Shikotsu-Toya National Park by rowing a clear kayak! You can participate regardless of spring, summer, fall, or winter ♪ Feel the charm of the four seasons with your body! Lake Shikotsu is 90% virgin forest and has a different appearance depending on the season. You will definitely be overwhelmed by the completely different scenery above and below the water! Please come and visit us! ★Limited to Lake Shikotsu area businesses★ "Mizu no Uta" day trip hot spring bathing ticket (15:00-19:00: 1,500 yen / person) If you would like to take a bath, please ask the staff. We will give you a ticket. *It is a bathing facility right next to our store.
In spring, the thaw begins and new water flows into Lake Shikotsu. Underwater, the transparency exceeds 30 meters, and the fish return to the shore. In the summer, the white flowers and aquatic plants of the natural monument Chitose Baikamo grow, and when there are many fish, a school of 1000 can be seen. Kokanee spawning begins in autumn, and you can see Kokanee dyed in the color of marriage. Winter is a season of outstanding transparency, sometimes up to 30 meters below.
For day-trip bathing, please enter the facility by 2:00 p.m. Please ask the staff so we can give you a ticket. (Day-trippers may not be able to enter after 2pm) *There is also a facility called ``Kyukamura'' within walking distance.
