Plan description

"Kyoto Shimogamo Shrine's dedication Japanese sweets" We will experience Mitarashi dumplings from fabric creation. Kyoto I am looking forward to making sauces with a rich flavor.
The "Mitarashi dumpling" that was completed is appreciated on the spot.

Making dumpling fabric

Join hot water to Koishin powder and knead it firmly. Put the dumpling dough in a steamer with a steam only. Be sure to keep the lid as it steams. While steaming, make a sauce.

Pass the fragrantly baked dumplings through the sauce and sprinkle with kinako to finish! Please enjoy the freshly made mitarashi dango.

Kyoto Shimogami Shrine's dedicated Japanese sweets!

Mitarashi dumpling is the starting point of Shingo sweets that were created and dedicated at the family of Moshi and Shiko during Mitarai Festival at Shimogamo Shrine. Soak your feet in Otaeri Pond, pray for sinlessness and atonement for sin and atonement. Mitoshi dumplings are said to have been made by imitating the blisters that had risen up in this Mamerai Pond.
