Experience an authentic tea ceremony which is considered to be an art in Japanese culture.
The venue is a long-established flower shop with a history of 70 years, which is located in a busy district of Hiroshima lined with many department stores. Currently the venue offers 46 culture classes in ikebana and tea ceremony.
In the tea room, you can see almost all of Japanese traditional stuffs such as tea-ware, bamboo-made products, kimono, kaiseki, incense and hanging scrolls.
The aim of this tea ceremony is to show guests a hospitality through tea etiquette and offer a better understanding of Japanese philosophy and culture.
Depending on the instructor, you can also try to make your tea.
The venue is easy to access, so you can experience Japanese culture during your tour in Hiroshima if time permits between your sightseeing programs.
Our school is very convenient to take a tea ceremony lesson in your preferred time, as we have many instructors and each instructor holds several classes everyday from morning to the evening except Sundays and Mondays.
