[Near Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park] Calligraphy Experience: Create your own original fan! Experience the charm of traditional Japanese culture, calligraphy, in Hiroshima, the "City of Peace." Enjoy the time to write beautiful characters in a relaxing studio using tools such as brushes, ink, and paper. The brushes used are "Kumano brushes," individually handcrafted by artisans in Kumano Town, Hiroshima Prefecture. Enjoy a special moment expressing yourself while calming your mind with Hiroshima's world-renowned traditional brushes. Experience Details: ■ Introduction to calligraphy tools ■ Practice basic strokes (dots, horizontal lines, sweeps, etc.) ■ Practice hiragana and kanji ■ Choose your favorite words or kanji and write them on a fan → Take home your one-of-a-kind "handwritten fan." Award-winning professional calligraphers will provide thorough support, so even beginners can participate empty-handed! English support is available, so foreigners are welcome to join. Dress code - Must bring items	There is nothing in particular you need to bring. You can participate empty-handed. There is little need to worry about getting dirty, but just in case, we recommend wearing clothes that you don't mind getting a little ink on. Avoid white clothes; black or dark colored clothes are safer.
About rental items	We provide a complete set of calligraphy tools (brush, ink, inkstone, calligraphy paper, and fan). All of these can be used free of charge. Aprons are also available to borrow (free of charge) upon request.

Take the Hiroshima Electric Railway (streetcar) from JR Hiroshima Station for approximately 15 minutes. Get off at Kamiyacho Higashi, Kamiyacho Nishi, or Hondori. From each stop, it's a 3-5 minute walk to the studio located inside Bon Kogei Takumi on the 5th floor of Sun Mall.
