At "Kyoto Shippo Hiromi Art Higashiyama Store," you can experience making a piece of "Kyoto Shippo," a designated traditional craft of Kyoto. This plan allows you to make one of a pendant, strap, obi clasp, or brooch using the technique of "wired cloisonné." The duration is 2 hours.

Experience the traditional "wired cloisonne"

"Wired Cloisonné" is a traditional technique in which thin ribbon-like silver wire is folded over a silver base to create patterns in any design. It is a serious technique that is also used in cloisonné pieces in museum collections, but even elementary school children can experience it. The finished size of the piece is about 3cm. Let's make cute mini accessories ♪ We also offer a production experience using the easiest method, "frit cloisonné" ♪
