Yumegen Kiln in Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture is a pottery class where you can easily experience pottery and potter's wheel, which are very popular as lessons for housewives in their 40s, 50s, and 60s. Since it is a small group (1 to 8 people), it is safe for beginners, and there is a large parking lot for 8 cars. The lessons are not curriculum-based, and you can freely make what you like at your own pace. Two instructors, a contemporary ceramic artist and a ceramic therapist, teach directly. Enjoy pottery in a homely atmosphere. We also hold on-site classrooms for educational institutions and long-term care facilities.
