He worked in boat fishing equipment at a major fishing tackle shop, accumulating knowledge and experience in the field. He then studied culinary arts in Tuscany, Italy, graduating from the Lucca Culinary Institute. His experience working in the food industry, where he was in charge of appetizers at a seaside restaurant, had a major influence on his later work. After returning to Japan, he served as the first Regional Revitalization Cooperation Volunteer (Tourism) in Yaizu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, for three years, working to promote tourism by utilizing local resources. He currently runs "CLARI MARE," publishing recipe books and offering cooking classes using the fish he catches. His publications include "Shizuoka Fishing Trip Recommendations" (Shizuoka Shimbun, 2023) and "Quick and Authentic! Recommendations for Fresh Seafood Dishes" (Tsuribitosha, 2025), and he also served as editor-in-chief of the travel guidebook "Happy Miyakojima 2025-2026" (Naigai Publishing, 2025).
