今回初めてこのようなツアーに参加した。自分は台湾人ですが、留学の一年を合わせて約三年日本に住んでいます。遠野市は初めて訪れたが、「ホップの里」、「遠野物語」のことなどを知らず、ツアーに参加に参加しました。「ホップ栽培」はもちろん、「遠野の歴史と文化」もガイドや地域の方から聞くことができました。また、遠野醸造で自作のビール、ホップ畑で乾杯など、なかなか体験できない経験だったので大変感動しました。
這是我第一次參加日本的啤酒之旅，雖然自己來過日本很多次，但透過這次的行程安排，第一次到了岩手縣遠野市。在完全不了解當地的人文歷史下參加了行程，但經由導覽人員精闢的解說以及在地人細心的說明下，我更了解這個地方了。而行程中，「啤酒花的種植心路歷程」、「提供自己現做的啤酒酒吧」、「在啤酒花田裡乾杯」等等行程都是非常棒的體驗!
少人数制のツアーの醍醐味で、なぜ遠野でビール醸造が盛んになったのか、なぜホップを栽培するようになったのか、遠野の町並み、歴史、文化を合わせて聞くことができた。ビール10種を飲み比べることはもちろん、遠野醸造に関してはブリュワーの話を直に聞けたことが嬉しかった。ホップ畑で飲んだ缶ビールはコンビニで買う缶ビールよりも美味しく感じ、なかなかできない体験であることを痛感。ホップの実を割って入れて飲むことができるのはこのツアーでしかできないことなのだと思いました。ありがとうございました。

遠野は民話の里として記憶していたが、現在はホップの里、さらにはビールの里として知名度を上げていたことに驚いた。実際に遠野さんのホップを使用したビールを試飲できたことも良かったし、普段は入れないような遠野醸造の現場やホップ畑を解説付きで回れたのも良かったです。最高の時間でした。
