mahana (Mahana) is a Hawaiian word meaning "warm" and "rest". In addition, it has the meaning of "the sun" in Tahiti.
In the southwestern part of Miyakejima, there is a district called Umusuki (Uusuki). In the old days, it was described as light clothes, and it is a place where you can take off clothes and wear light clothes in warm places among the islands.
There is a place called Mahana (the internasal nose) which is the same as the Hawaiian language right next to the thin wood district. I do not know what kind of relationship with the Hawaiian mahana, but I decided to use this name, called mahana, which is familiar to the islanders as the shop name.
I have continued my work to introduce the nature of Miyakejima, which began with the guide of the sea, but the land of volcanoes and other lands of Miyake has begun to be a fun guide of land so much that it is too attractive.
Since working on Miyakejima before the eruption, I was fascinated by Miyakejima and made my long-cherished migration in 2007. I used to work on whales and nature, so I hope I can make use of them on Miyakejima. I want everyone to experience the wonderful nature of Miyakejima. Let's sympathize with the charm of the island together! !!
Miyakejima, a volcanic island, is full of dynamic natural charm. We will show you the unique plants and birds of Miyakejima, the breathing and power of the earth, beauty and fun.
