Experience woodworking using fruit trees in Yamanashi! You can make chopsticks, spoons, and plates using wood that is unique to the city of peaches and grapes, and take them home as souvenirs. We recommend turning fruit trees into wonderful works of art to remember your trip by, and making them into souvenirs. The more you use it, the more you will treasure the feel of the wood. The work is easy. Polish the surface with three sheets of sandpaper and finish it with oil. It is an experience that people of all ages can easily try.

You can experience laser engraving at the Azumino Wooden Chopsticks Fab Factory. ★Please make a reservation by phone on the day or if you are alone. Up to 15 people can experience the experience in the workshop. The experience will be held in a home workshop. When you enter the room, the scent of wood fills the air... that alone will relax your mind! Concentrating on making chopsticks will refresh your mind and body! This is an experience that satisfies all five senses with the fresh air, water, and light of Azumino. If you can draw, you can do it, so even small children can experience it. Your child's drawings and letters can be engraved as they are, so if you create one every year on their birthday, it will be a memento of their growth! Draw a rough sketch with a pencil, thicken it with a marker, and then engrave it with a laser engraving machine to turn it into an original piece! A memento of your trip! Assemble a frame using wood from Hokkaido and assemble 20 types of wood parts in your favorite combination to create your own original photo frame! You can make a photo frame to your liking. The instructor, Matsuura from Kobo Kaede, is a skilled craftsman who won the Hokkaido Governor's Award, the highest award at the Hokkaido Art Exhibition. He has many years of workshop experience, so even beginners can create fun and long-lasting works. Perfect for independent research during long holidays. Or as a photo frame to put special photos in. The more effort you put in, the better the result!

Try your hand at making an authentic parquet keychain by cutting and gluing parquet blocks that make use of the natural wood color! Wood comes in a variety of colors, from brown, red, yellow, and even purple. The parquet block bars that form the basis of parquet work are made in advance by instructor Matsuura. You cut them with a craftsman's saw and combine them to make hearts, leaves, and any other shape you like. Once firmly glued together, polish them with sandpaper and finish with oil to complete the piece. Instructor Matsuura of Studio Kaede is a talented artist who won the top prize at the Dobi Exhibition in 2019. He will kindly teach even beginners the authentic craftsmanship!

Mukuroji Woodware, which specializes in making wooden tableware, opens its workshop to the public on the 4th Saturday of every month to hold workshops♪★ Experience making butter knives using professional machinery★ The butter knives you make will be delivered on the same day. You can take it home. We will accept applications from just one person! We will do our best to make sure you have a fun and injury-free time! ~Procedure of the experience~ 1. Draw a side view of a butter knife with a pencil. 2. Cut outside the line you drew with a scroll saw. 3.Use a machine called a belt sander to sand down to the lines on the side view. 4. Cut the unnecessary parts using a saw. 5. Draw a top view of the butter knife with a pencil. 6. Use a belt sander to sand down to the lines shown on the top view. 7. Polish with sponge sander and sandpaper by hand. 8. Wear gloves and apply oil with a rag to complete. Customers who participate in this plan will receive a cup of home-roasted coffee. The workshop is in a great location, surrounded by nature and close to the sea. If the weather is nice, you might even be able to enjoy a spectacular sunset with a cup of coffee in hand! ?
