Nokogiriyama is known as a lesser known mountain on the Boso Peninsula. With its jagged ridgeline resembling the teeth of a saw, and the remains of the quarry where Boso stone was quarried by the stone-cutting industry until the Showa era, it looks like an abandoned building, and this otherworldly space that appears in the middle of nature has become popular. On this tour, you will pass through the streets of Kanaya, which once flourished as a stone-cutting industry, and climb the "Sharikko Road," a road that once transported quarried stone, with a guide. While enjoying the climb, which is low above sea level but has a large elevation difference, you will feel the breath of the craftsmen of the time, and trace the history of how Boso stone supported Japan's modernization and declined over time.

Nokogiriyama is known as a low-profile mountain on the Boso Peninsula. On its southern side is the grounds of Nippon-ji Temple, the imperial temple of Emperor Shomu, which will celebrate its 1,300th anniversary in 2025. This plan is a half-day tour to experience the charms of Nokogiriyama Nippon-ji Temple, starting from JR Yasuda Station, walking along the main approach to the temple and climbing Nokogiriyama from the mountain gate. Once inside the Nippon-ji Temple grounds, you can enjoy the mystical atmosphere of the tallest Buddha statue in Japan (as a seated statue and rock-carved Buddha), as well as the 1,500 arhat statues arranged on the mountainside. Climb the stairs to the top of the mountain, pass by the famous photo spots "Hell Peek" and "Hyakushaku Kannon", and then use the ropeway to return down the mountain.

At Mitsuishi Fudoson, a traditional esoteric Buddhist temple that worships the waterfall where Kobo Daishi trained at the age of 21, we will practice rituals at the goma and make our wishes come true. The prayer priest is Sato Myosen (representative of the Kishu Koyasan Yokofue Association), a nun who lives in Mt. Koya. After the Goma prayer, if the weather is good, you can visit the waterfall and achieve a unique purification. Although you can apply for the Goma prayer experience alone, we recommend visiting in a group.

If you have any worries, or if there is something you want to hear but can't tell anyone, please come to the Kishu Koyasan Yokobue Society. The oldest things remaining at Koyasan are the Buddhist scriptures that Kobo Daishi brought back from China. These prayers are based on these scriptures. We will listen to your worries, such as chronic physical and mental symptoms, improving human relationships, and looking at the bright side of things, and show you the path to improvement through appropriate prayers.

If you want to enjoy shopping, this is a place you can't miss. *You can choose to get off at the outlet mall and stay there or go to the next attraction, the hot spring. ▼Option 2: Day trip hot spring bathing experience (about 2 hours) If you would like to take a hot spring bath instead of the outlet, we have a shuttle service available and will take you to the hot spring "Kinohana no Yu", which just opened at the end of 2019. The name of the hot spring comes from the goddess "Kinohana Sakiyahime" enshrined at Mt. Fuji and Fuji Sengen Taisha Shrine. You can enjoy an overwhelming view of Mt. Fuji from the hot spring, and you can enjoy a large open-air bath while looking at Mt. Fuji with high-quality hot spring water from the private source. Stroll with your guide around the Cliff Kannon (official name Daifukuji), a rare Kannon temple built on a cliff halfway up a mountain. After enjoying the spectacular view of Tateyama Bay, you will pass through the streets and coastline of Funagata, a town that has long prospered as a fishing town, and visit a local fish shop. Enjoy lunch in a private room at a private restaurant run directly by the fish shop on this short 3-hour course. It's the perfect light activity to do after checking out of your hotel!
