This is a bonfire experience at the foot of the Shirakami Mountains, a World Heritage Site. You can participate empty-handed. A camping instructor will support you from starting the fire, so even beginners can feel at ease. It is possible all year round. In winter, you can experience camping in the snow. If you wish, you can also experience batoning and feather stick making. The experience time is about 2 hours. "Enjoy the scenery of the UNESCO World Heritage Shirakami-Sanchi" Walk the mountains of Noshiro in full pilgrimage attire with Noen Haruharu, a guide from Ryusenji Temple! You can hear about history and faith from your guide, and about trees and flowers from Noen Haruharu. Experience Buddhism by walking through the mountain scenery of the four seasons. Why not try making "Kumiko" in Noshiro, the city of wood? Noshiro City, Akita Prefecture, is a town at the mouth of the Yoneshiro River, and has a convenient port for transporting felled Akita cedar. Lumber is exported domestically and overseas, and it was called "the No. 1 city of wood in the Orient". Even now, there are many wood-related companies in the city. We will assemble wooden "Kumiko parts" from scratch. There is some fine work, but the work of assembling them together is addictive! The finishing work using a file allows you to feel the pleasant scent of wood. *Wood material: Hiba You can choose from two types of "strap" with a diameter of about 5.6 cm and "coaster" with a diameter of about 10 cm (additional 500 yen).
