[Tohoku's first] Lake Towada smelt fishing dome boat plan. This plan allows you to board a heated dome boat and enjoy 2.5 hours of leisurely fishing on the snowy lake. The Korakukan and Kosaka Mine Offices, which are heritage sites of the Meiji era, are located in Kosaka Town in the northern part of Akita Prefecture. Designated as a national important cultural property, it is an important building in the town. Kosaka is a mining town located southwest of Lake Towada. Korakukan was built in 1910 (Meiji 43) as a welfare facility for Kosaka Mine employees. There was a time when the number of visitors decreased due to the trend of the times, but it has been restored and preserved while being used, and even after more than 100 years, it is still a living theater where performances are held from spring to autumn. . During the winter when there are no performances, the museum is open as a tour facility. (Excluding the year-end and New Year holidays, rental time, etc.) Kosaka Mine Office, built in 1905, five years earlier than Korakukan, was an office building at the time. Now that it has been relocated to Meiji Hyakunen-dori Street, it is used as a museum of Kosaka Mine and the history of the town.

For those who need winter clothing, we offer Rental(2200 yen) for 1 set (cold wear top and bottom, shoes, gloves, hat). When you ’re ready, you ’ll start with a lecture on how to ride a canoe, how to row, and what to watch out for. After the lecture, board the connected canoe and depart. The guide also rides the same canoe, so even those who are worried about rowing a canoe can enjoy the Canadian canoe tour with confidence. During the tour, you can enjoy a lake that changes according to the situation, such as a thin frozen lake surface or a sherbet-shaped lake surface.
