Using traditional tools, you will make seasonal Kyoto sweets. You will enjoy one of the finished sweets with the matcha tea that you prepared yourself. At the "Ninshu Ware Gallery & Matcha Shop," produced by a pottery maker that purveyors the world heritage site Ninnaji Temple in Kyoto, you can experience a pottery landscape modeled after a dry landscape garden, and enjoy matcha tea from Ippodo and Japanese sweets from Senbon Gyokujuken. This is a plan that you can enjoy. At our store, which is a renovated Kyoto townhouse built over 100 years ago, you can easily experience Kyoto culture such as Kyoto's handmade pottery, Kyoto townhouses, matcha and Japanese sweets, and Karesansui.

"Nama Yatsuhashi" is a Kyoto confectionery that represents Kyoto. Try making three types of nama Yatsuhashi: bean paste, matcha, and roasted chestnut, starting from making the dough. This plan includes visiting a traditional Japanese townhouse, "Machiya," and participating in a tea ceremony in Kyoto wearing traditional costumes. First, after arriving, you will be quickly dressed in a kimono made of real silk. After that, you will be guided around the townhouse built in the Meiji period. Enjoy tea while listening to an explanation about the tea ceremony in the tea room. There is a traditional four-and-a-half-tatami tea room and a standing seat where you can sit on a chair, so anyone can enjoy tea. Feel free to take photos during your stay and fully experience Japanese culture.
